Inter-Connected
Development
Inter-Connected
Development is the process through which stakeholder seeking to reduce
poverty and inequity decide that they will not act alone but rather will
work in connection with others (government, civil society and private
sector). When Inter-Connected, the relationship created is as important as
the outcome of their joint efforts. Inter-Connected actors value and
support the work of others.
This
initiative seeks to help create and sustain the inter-connections among
development actors who seek reductions in poverty and inequity. It is an initiative of Inter-Mediation,
an international not for profit organization.
The
concept is that all stakeholders for a given undertaking establish
development linkages that connect their resources and competencies and
align their interests. Inter-Connected development means that
creating health relationships among stakeholders is equally important with
program itself.
